Join us for our 2023 BSO Gala, Passport to Spain, for a culturally immersive experience that will excite your senses! This gala will be held at The Center on 300 SE Adams Blvd and will include a live auction and end with a dance party, so be sure to bring comfortable shoes! Dinner and cash bar will be provided by Crossing 2nd, and will include a variety of delectable tapas (Spanish appetizers), an entrée option of seafood or vegetarian paella, rounded out with a scrumptious crème brulée for dessert.
Our featured entertainment for the evening is American Master of the Flamenco Guitar, Mr. Ronald Radford, who will captivate your imagination with his virtuosic flamenco guitar playing and illuminating narration. Mr. Radford is a protégé of the legendary Carlos Montoya, and studied with Andrés Segovia. He is the only person awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study flamenco in Spain, where he lived and traveled.
Our gala chairs this year are John and Annie Saltsman, philanthropists and local businessowners of 3 Kids and a Cake - The Eatery, with locations in Bartlesville and Owasso. They have been passionate supporters of the BSO and we are thrilled to have their support for this gala.
This year’s BSO Bruce Price Cultural Award recipient is Mrs. Bettye Williams who will be honored at the Gala. This award was created to honor those in our community who have, in some demonstrable way, contributed to the culture of the city of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. This award was also created to encourage citizen participation in the Arts, Education and the many aspects of cultural diversity in our city. Please join us in honoring one of the great pioneers and matriarchs of our city! We look forward to sharing more of her story with you.
