Fragments of Imagination at The Center

Description

The First Impressions series is a new, grant-funded exhibition initiative at the Bartlesville Community Center’s Lyon Gallery, designed to showcase emerging and unestablished artists and provide them with professional gallery exposure.  This month The Center will feature artist Arthur J. Uphold, whose work explores color, design and the discovery of unexpected forms through painting and sculpture.  After a 28-year career in the U.S. Army, including deployments to Kuwait and Baghdad, Iraq, Arthur now works full time as an artist.
