OKM Music’s Oktoberfest is an annual family-friendly celebration held in early October, blending traditional German Oktoberfest festivities with a diverse lineup of musical performances. This community-oriented celebration showcases Bartlesville’s cultural spirit and is a highlight on the local calendar each year. The event offers patrons and guests an authentic Bavarian experience, complete with traditional German cuisine like bratwurst and pretzels, as well as a variety of locally brewed beer. Local market and artisan vendors with products such as soap and honey, contribute to the festive atmosphere, while activities such as the beer stein competition, Hammerschlagen, axe throwing, root beer pong, and more, enchance the event’s entertainment value. Kids can join in on the fun too! At OKM Music’s Oktoberfest, children enjoy icing Lebkuchen cookies, shrink plastic crafts, wood painting, playing in a bounce house, putt putt golf, root beer pong, as well as receiving Schultüte bags! Each Schultüte bag is filled with stickers, pencils, erasers, candy, and more small toys, adding to the festive spirit.
