In 2026, Youth & Family Services will celebrate 50 years of serving children, youth, and families in our community. To mark this milestone, YFS is hosting a community-wide 50th Anniversary Celebration and Light the way 5K and 1 mile Glow Run at Unity Square on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

This family-friendly event will feature a Glow Run, children’s activities, entertainment, community vendors, and opportunities for local businesses to engage with families. While the event celebrates five decades of impact, it also looks toward the future. YFS is building awareness and momentum for its vision of constructing a new youth shelter to serve homeless and at-risk youth in our area.

Community members of all ages are invited to participate in the race, attend the celebration, and join us in honoring 50 years of service and hope for local families.
