Nehemiah Community Developments Corporation is proud to announce its official dedication to becoming a Recovery Friendly Workplace by the Oklahoma Alliance for Recovery Residency. This commitment reflects our belief that every person deserves the opportunity to thrive – personally and professionally – in a supportive, stigma-free environment.
As a recovery friendly workplace Nehemiah recognizes that substance use disorder and mental health challenges can affect anyone, and that recovery is a journey best supported by a compassionate community. We are dedicated to fostering a workplace culture that promotes hope, respect, and opportunity for all employees, regardless of where they are in their recovery.
Through this initiative, Nehemiah will:
- Provide education and training to increase awareness and reduce stigma.
- Promote health, safety, and well-being for all employees.
- Educate local resources and connections to support recovery and wellness.
- Encourage open dialogue and mutual support throughout our organization.
